Asana, Coro, Qualys, SAP, Oracle and Capgemini were among the tech companies making key executive hires and moves in July 2025.

New CEOs at Asana and Coro and a new CMO at Qualys marked some of the biggest executive moves of June 2025.

Taking those spots, respectively, are Dan Rogers, formerly of LaunchDarkly; Joe Sykora, formerly of Proofpoint; and May Mitchell, formerly of Human.

July 2025 Tech Executive Moves

SAP, Oracle and Capgemini were among other tech giants to make significant executive moves during the month as companies invested in talent for overseeing sales, technology and partners. Those executives, respectively, were:

The United States saw 73,000 jobs added in July and revised May and June numbers, bringing their gains down by 258,000, according to USA Today. Unemployment grew from 4.1 percent to 4.2 percent.

Candace Johnson

Johnson took on the role of vice president of sales development for SAP’s business in the eastern North America market last month.

The Germany-based enterprise application vendor hired Johnson after she worked at Oracle for about four years, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Oracle with the title of enterprise Software-as-a-Service applications sales executive.

Her resume includes about two years with Automatic Data Processing. She left ADP in 2022 with the title of major account district sales manager.

SAP has about 25,000 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.

May Mitchell

Qualys hired Mitchell as CMO in July.

Mitchell joined the Foster City, Calif.-based security vendor after about a year as CMO of Human, according to her LinkedIn account.

Her resume includes about two years with Open Systems, leading the rebrand of its managed detection and response (MDR) business as Ontinue. She left the company in 2024.

Ifeme Akpati

Akpati started with Oracle in July as vice president of engineering for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Akpati came to the Austin, Texas-based cloud and database products vendor after about seven years on and off with Amazon Web Services, according to his LinkedIn account. He left AWS most recently with the title of senior manager of software engineering.

His resume includes about two years with SAP as director of product management.

Oracle NetSuite is part of CRN’s 2025 Partner Program Guide.

Dan Rogers

Rogers started in July as Asana’s new CEO. He succeeded co-founder Dustin Moskovitz, who kept the title of chair. Moskovitz previously co-founded Facebook.

Rogers joined the San Francisco-based work management platform provider after about three years as CEO of LaunchDarkly, according to his LinkedIn account.

His resume includes about three years as president of Rubrik and CMO of ServiceNow for about four years. He left Rubrik in 2023 and ServiceNow in 2020.

Asana has a partner program for solution providers, services partners and other business models, according to the vendor.

Joe Sykora

Sykora became CEO of Coro in July, succeeding co-founder Guy Moskowitz, who became the company’s president.

Sykora joined the Chicago-based security vendor in March as general manager of the Americas, according to his LinkedIn account. He previously served as senior vice president of worldwide channels and partner sales at Proofpoint for about four years.

His resume includes about two years with Bitdefender. He left the vendor in 2020 with the title of vice president of global sales and channels.

Coro’s top channel goals for 2025 include increasing the amount of professional services going through partners, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.

Sarah Foote

In July, Foote was hired by C3 Integrated Solutions as vice president of marketing.

Foote came to the Arlington, Va.-based company—a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500—after about three years with Blue Mantis, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Blue Mantis with the title of CMO.

Her resume includes about a year with Fortinet. She left the cybersecurity vendor in 2022 with a role in national channel marketing.

Mona Ghadiri

Last month, Capgemini brought on Ghadiri as vice president of cloud and infrastructure services.

The France-based company—No. 4 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500—brought on Ghadiri after she worked at BlueVoyant for about four years, according to her LinkedIn account. She left BlueVoyant with the title of senior director of product management.

Her resume includes about a year with Critical Start as a senior product manager.

Manpreet Grewal

Grewal took on the role of senior vice president, global controller and chief accounting officer at HP Inc. in July.

Grewal joined the Palo Alto, Calif.-based computer maker after about five years with U.S. Steel, according to his LinkedIn account. He left U.S. Steel with the title of vice president, controller and chief accounting officer. Nippon Steel acquired U.S. Steel in June.

His resume includes about three years with Covanta, leaving the waste management company in 2020 with the title of vice president, controller and chief accounting officer. EQT Infrastructure acquired Covanta in 2021.

HP’s top channel goals for 2025 include increasing the amount of net-new accounts coming through partners and supporting partners in their increasingly AI-centric advisory role to customers, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.

Qi He

He returned to Microsoft in July as vice president of applied science in July.

He will “work at the core of Microsoft’s LLM stack—adapting and extending frontier models, scaling post-training across 1P and OSS, and pushing forward applications like GitHub Copilot and beyond,” according to his LinkedIn account.

The Redmond, Wash.-based tech giant brought on He after he worked at Amazon for about a year. He left Amazon with the title of applied science director.

His previous Microsoft foray came after the vendor bought LinkedIn in 2016. He worked at LinkedIn from 2013 to 2022, leaving with the title of senior director of engineering.

Arquelle Shaw

Equinix promoted Shaw to the role of Americas president in July.

Shaw has been with the Redwood City, Calif.-based digital infrastructure vendor for about six years, according to her LinkedIn account. She previously held the title of senior vice president of Americas sales.

Her resume includes about three years with Accenture, leaving the solution provider in 2019 as a senior sales executive.

Christopher Niederman

Snowflake brought on Niederman in July as its new channel chief.

Niederman took on the role of senior vice president of alliances and channels with the Bozeman, Mont.-based data analysis products vendor. He previously worked at Amazon Web Services for about 11 years, leaving with the title of managing director of AWS industries and solutions.

His resume includes about seven years with VMware, leaving in 2014 as senior director of national partner sales. Niederman was “responsible for building and leading VMware’s first National Partner Sales Team focused on the largest and most strategic high growth partners in the Americas,” according to his LinkedIn account.

Bob Calderoni

Hewlett Packard Enterprise made Calderoni a member of its board of directors and chairman of a new strategy committee as part of a “cooperation” pact with activist investor Elliott Investment Management.

Calderoni joined the Houston-based company while also serving as chairman of KLA and a board member of Ansys, according to a statement by HPE.

His resume includes serving as interim CEO and president of Citrix from 2015 to 2016 and from 2021 to 2022, guiding the company through its sale to Elliott and Vista Equity Partners.

Vidur Apparao

In July, Google Cloud brought on Apparao as vice president of engineering for developer experiences.

Apparao came to the Mountain View, Calif.-based artificial intelligence and cloud products vendor after about six years with Salesforce, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Salesforce with the title of executive vice president of software engineering.

His resume includes about six years with Agari. He left the communication security company in 2019 with the title of CTO and head of engineering. Agari was acquired by HelpSystems, now called Fortra, in 2021.

Google’s top channel goals for 2025 include enabling partners to develop an AI strategy and sell AI products and services, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.

Jonathan Zanger

Last month, Zanger became CTO of Check Point Software Technologies.

Zanger joined the Israel-based cybersecurity vendor after about four years with Trigo, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Trigo with the CTO title.

His resume includes about nine years on and off with the Israeli Military, leaving most recently in 2021 with the title of head of Unit 8200’s research and development division.

Rajnish Mishra

SonicWall brought on Mishra as chief development officer last month.

The Milpitas, Calif.-based security vendor hired Mishra after he worked at Zscaler for about 14 years, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Zscaler with the title of senior vice president of engineering.

His resume includes about 11 years with Cisco Systems. He left the company in 2011 with the title of engineering director.

SonicWall has about 18,000 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.

Syam Nair

Nair joined NetApp in July, taking on the role of chief product officer.

Nair came to the San Jose, Calif.-based data infrastructure vendor after about two years with Zscaler, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Zscaler with the title of CTO.

His resume includes about six years with Salesforce. He left the enterprise application vendor in 2023 with the title of executive vice president. In that role, he headed product engineering and technology for offers including Tableau, Einstein, Flow and Marketing Cloud.

David Collier

Collier returned to Arrow Electronics in July, taking on the role of senior vice president and chief logistics officer.

Collier came to the Centennial, Colo.-based distributor after about three years with Infinite Electronics as its COO, according to his LinkedIn account.

He previously worked at Arrow for about four years, leaving in 2020 as vice president of global supply chain and operations.

His resume includes about two years with PoolCorp. He left the swimming pool products distributor in 2022 with the title of vice president of operations and supply chain.

Tata Consultancy Services promoted Santhanam to the role of CIO in July.

Santhanam has worked at the India-based company—No. 3 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500—for more than 25 years, according to his LinkedIn account.

He previously served as TCS’ chief learning officer, vice president and global head of talent development. He has also held the roles of head of digital talent development and retail functional consultant.

Jason Young

Young joined Tech Mahindra in July, taking on the role of vice president and working with retail, e-commerce and consumer goods customers.

The India-based company—No. 23 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500—brought on Young after he worked at Sutherland for about eight years, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Sutherland with the title of vice president.

His resume includes about a year with Enhanced Resource Centers. He left ERC in 2017 with the title of senior vice president of client solutions.

Waheed Choudhry

Choudhry came to New Era Technology in July as its new CRO.

Choudhry joined the New York-based company—a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500—after more than eight years with Presidio, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Presidio with the title of senior vice president of U.S. state, local and education.

His resume includes about two years with Dimension Data, leaving the company in 2017 as president of North America. He came to Dimension Data through the acquisition of Nexus, where he served as president and COO. Dimension Data bought Nexus in 2014.

Balaji Gangishetty

In July, Virtusa hired Gangishetty as its new senior vice president focused on high-tech and independent software vendors.

The Southborough, Mass.-based company—No. 22 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500—brought on Gangishetty after about a year with Persistent Systems, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Persistent with the title of senior vice president of the high-tech and ISV business.

His resume includes about three years with Ness Digital Engineering. He left the company in 2023 with the title of senior vice president and high-tech and ISV business unit leader.

Mike Hess

Hess joined Leidos in July, taking on the role of vice president and civil space account executive.

Hess came to the Reston, Va.-based company—No. 10 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500—after more than 30 years with NASA. He left NASA with the title of deputy associate administrator for mission support, according to his LinkedIn account.

Past roles with NASA have included deputy for safety at the organization’s Engineering and Safety Center and chief of the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory.

Donie Lochan

Lochan became CIO of AHEAD in July.

Lochan came to the Chicago-based company—a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500—after about 11 years with Invesco, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Invesco with the title of CTO.

His resume includes about two years with LPL Financial. He left in 2015 with the title of executive vice president and head of corporate strategy and performance improvement.

Pierre Blanchette

Alithya brought on Blanchette as its new CFO last month.

Blanchette joined the Montréal-based company—a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500—after about four years with Colabor. He left Colabor with the title of CFO and senior vice president, according to his LinkedIn account.

His resume includes about 14 years with Fiera Capital. He left the firm in 2021 with the title of senior vice president and global head of treasury and taxation.

Jessie Sprotte

Cyderes brought on Sprotte last month as its new vice president of growth marketing.

An joined MGT last month, taking on the role of vice president of data strategy.

An came to the Tampa, Fla.-based company—No. 111 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500—after about two years with Vestis, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Vestis with the title of director of marketing analytics and insights.

His resume includes about five years with AGCO. He left the agricultural machinery maker in 2023 with the title of senior manager of performance improvement and program management for global parts and service.

Matt Deres

TPx announced Deres as its new CIO in July.

Deres joined the Austin, Texas-based company—a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500—after about three years with Quest Software, accordingto his LinkedIn account. He left Quest with the CIO title.

Debra Wasserman

In July, CDW brought on Wasserman as its new senior vice president of total rewards.
