Lexful Launches AI-Native IT Documentation Platform Built For MSPs
‘Stop searching. Stop clicking. Start solving,’ says Lexful CEO Pinar Ormeci. ‘That’s why we exist. If MSPs want to scale in an AI-driven world, this problem has to be solved first and that’s exactly what we’re here to do.’
An AI-native IT documentation platform purpose-built for MSPs is aiming to fix what many MSPs say has been broken for years: outdated documentation, poor search, scattered knowledge and system failures. The new platform, Lexful, was introduced Wednesday with a goal to overhaul IT documentation.
Backed by venture capital firm Top Down Ventures and led by global technology executive Pinar Ormeci, Lexful continuously captures and links assets, credentials, procedures and operational context, making documentation usable not only by technicians but also by AI-driven workflows.
“Search is broken. Everyone knows it,” Ormeci told CRN. “Documentation goes stale the moment it’s written. Knowledge is spread across tools and technicians end up on scavenger hunts when they should be solving problems. We rebuilt the infrastructure from the ground up so MSPs can actually get the right information, instantly, in the right context.”

Ormeci is a seasoned executive, board member and cybersecurity leader with expertise in AI, channel strategy and scaling high-growth SaaS businesses. She currently serves on multiple boards and spent more than a decade at Ericsson and Qualcomm driving digital transformation, alliances and revenue growth across North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region. Her career spans Fortune 500 enterprises, high-growth startups and venture-backed companies with a focus on cybersecurity, AI, go-to-market execution and building scalable partner ecosystems.
At the center of Lexful’s platform is Ask Lex, an intelligent data assistant delivering a ChatGPT-like experience only answering from verified, structured documentation within an MSP’s environment.
“It’s not a chatbot that makes things up and apologizes later,” Ormeci said. “If the information isn’t there, it won’t invent it. That trust is non-negotiable for MSPs.”
Joel Abramson, managing partner at Top Down Ventures, said the idea for Lexful came from a growing realization that incremental upgrades to legacy documentation tools were no longer enough.
“It became painfully obvious that nobody has rebuilt documentation for the age of AI,” he said. “The data structures just aren’t there to support what MSPs need today. Ten seconds in Lexful and you realize this is a totally different way of thinking about documentation. It’s really about knowledge, not files.”
Security was another foundational requirement. Built with a zero-trust architecture from day one, Lexful protects highly sensitive client data while supporting multi-tenant MSP environments. The company has already entered the audit process for SOC 2 Type II compliance.
“For a documentation platform, security isn’t optional,” Ormeci said. “This data is the crown jewels for MSPs. You have to assume zero trust from the beginning.”ok
The Vancouver, British Columbia-based vendor believes its approach can help smaller MSPs compete with larger firms by improving efficiency, professionalism and response times without adding headcount.
“Stop searching. Stop clicking. Start solving,” Ormeci said. “That’s why we exist. If MSPs want to scale in an AI-driven world, this problem has to be solved first and that’s exactly what we’re here to do.”
