Myriad360 CEO: Advizex Acquisition Is A ‘Utopian Dream’ Come True

‘From my perspective having been involved in many acquisitions in my career, I could not believe how complementary these two companies were to each other,’ said Myriad360 CEO Jay Miley. ‘It was almost like I woke up in a utopian dream. It was too good to be true.’

Myriad360 CEO Jay Miley said when he looked at the complementary strengths of his company and Advizex and the “growth” potential, he knew he had to figure out a way to quickly complete the acquisition.

“From my perspective having been involved in many acquisitions in my career, I could not believe how complementary these two companies were to each other,” said Miley in an interview with CRN. “It was almost like I woke up in a utopian dream. It was too good to be true.”

First and foremost, the blockbuster deal creates an Nvidia AI platform powerhouse with $900 million in annual run rate gross revenue.

“This is all about growth for us,” Miley said. “We were only serving part of the market. We were only addressing part of the technology stack. Advizex’s business really just filled out the technology stack for us in a really, really complementary way that was too compelling not figure out how to get a deal done.”

The deal combines Myriad360’s AI networking prowess as an Nvidia Mellanox InfiniBand superstar, a top neocloud provider and one of the top HPE Juniper and Cisco AI networking partners with the AI infrastructure muscle of Advizex, a leading Nvidia infrastructure partner and winner of the Nvidia Trailblazer Award.

Advizex, which was also singled out as AI Partner of the Year in CRN’s inaugural Best of The Channel Awards, is also a Dell Titanium partner and a leader in the as-a-service market with Dell Apex and HPE GreenLake. Advizex also recently was honored as Arista Campus Networking Partner of the Year.

In an email sent to CRN, Nvidia Vice President of Americas Partner Organization Craig Weinstein responded to the deal: “We’re in the largest infrastructure buildout in human history, transforming data centers into AI factories that produce intelligence at scale. Technology providers like Myriad360 are helping to make Nvidia AI infrastructure accessible to every enterprise, accelerating innovation across industries.”

Advizex made a big first-mover drive into the AI market two years ago, establishing a new AI business unit with Nvidia expertise led by Advizex sales veteran Steve Kucker as vice president and general manager of the high-performance and AI compute unit.

“Our clients on the enterprise side absolutely need the competencies that Steve Kucker and his team bring to market,” said Miley. “Advizex takes it from the GPU side of the house. What a combination when we take to market a complete solution there for both data center service providers and the enterprise. I couldn’t be happier.”

Advizex CEO C.R. Howdyshell, for his part, said the combined company can now say with confidence it is a full AI platform provider.

“We are really good at AI infrastructure with good services, and what Myriad360 is doing with networking is best in class,” he said. “This differentiates Advizex. This is not more of the same of what we already do. What they are doing complements what we are doing and what Advizex does complements what Myriad360 does. The winners are going to be our employees and our customers.”

One example of the positive reaction to the blockbuster deal came from Advizex Nvidia account executives. “They were extremely excited,” said Howdyshell. “This provides a platform other companies don’t have. Nvidia was very biased to us aligning with Myriad360 from the beginning. They felt it was a better story for our customers, employees and clearly for Nvidia. This differentiates. It is not more of the same.”

Howdyshell said the “excitement” from Nvidia—“the largest company in the world”—provides an AI “opportunity” that leaders like him will likely never see again in their career. “To have Nivdia’s attention and have them excited is a big deal,” he said.

Myriad360, No. 110 on the 2025 CRN Solution Provider 500, is a fast-growth company that was listed on Inc. 5000 in 2025 with three-year revenue growth of 77 percent.

Miley said that fast-growth track had the company on course to add more than 100 employees this year before the Advizex acquisition.

Myriad360 is listed on LinkedIn with 304 employees with its sales team growing by 38 percent over the last year.

“To win in this marketplace you need to invest for the long term,” said Miley. “We are long- term investors—not short-term investors. I am just super excited about the options that this will provide both organizations for not just the near term but the midterm and the long term. We are playing this game for the long term, not the short term.”

Advizex, No. 129 on the 2025 CRN Solution Provider 500, is listed on LinkedIn with 301 employees with its engineering and consulting teams experiencing a 5 percent increase in head count and its customer success team staffing up 50 percent.

Myriad360 said Advizex will continue to operate as Advizex, a Myriad360 company.

Here is a look at the key takeaways from the blockbuster deal.

Myriad360 Becomes A Full Technology Stack Partner With Broader Geographic Reach

Miley said the Advizex acquisition transforms Myriad360 into a full technology stack provider with deep new software reach, additional managed services muscle and broader geographic coverage.

“Advizex is really strong in areas we are not in,” said Miley.
“My sales team is hungry and so excited about what this marriage is going to do for us and not just on the Nvidia front—on the Dell front, the Pure Storage front, on the HPE GreenLake front, on the Microsoft front, on the ServiceNow front, on the Oracle front, on the Broadcom-VMware front.”

Miley said the “general enthusiasm” around the deal not just from Nvidia, but from other vendors, has been invigorating. “The folks from HPE on the GreenLake side said this is almost too good to be true,” he said. “They want to start talking about how to leverage the capabilities of Advizex to sell [GreenLake] through the Myriad sales team.”

Geographically, Advizex, which is based in Independence, Ohio, brings Myriad360, which has global reach, supporting deployments in 160 countries, with much stronger Northeast and Midwest coverage with offices in the Boston area and multiple offices in Ohio. “These are all areas we are not in,” said Miley. “I couldn’t believe how complementary the two organizations were geographically.”

Miley said the cultural similarities between Myriad360—which has built its business on a client-first credo—and Advizex—whose mantra is “customers for life”—-are striking. “Culturally we are very similar, which is going to make this combination great from the get-go,” he said.

“If you have aligned cultures, you can do anything,” said Miley. “The core values of Myriad360 and Advizex are so similar that anybody can get this right. I am fortunate to be able to work with C.R. and his team over time creating a platform that scales.”

Miley said Advizex also brings more managed services muscle to Myriad360. “Advizex stood up a lot more managed services than we have historically, whereas our model has been to date to sell other people’s managed services and then click a ticket on it,” he said. “We’re going to obviously adjust that where need be.”

Miley said he feels “fortunate” to have had the opportunity to bring the two companies together.

“With the strategic fit in terms of the technology stack as well as the geographic footprint working out the way it did, we would have been crazy to pass on this opportunity,” he said. “I feel very fortunate.”

Miley’s Call To Action For His Team: ‘Let’s Get This Done Fast’

Miley said once he saw how complementary the two companies were, he told his team to move at lightning speed to get the deal done. “I told them, ‘Let’s get this done fast.’”

Ultimately, the deal took about a month to hammer out the terms and conditions, which were not released.

“It’s a testament to both organizations how quickly we moved here,” Miley said. “That is really part of our cultures. I told C.R.’s team, ‘At the end of the day speed, speed, speed wins the race. We need to treat clients that way. We need to get answers back to them fast. We need to continue to empower decision-making in the field. It is in the field with the pursuit and solutions team in combination with the sales rep where decisions get made. C.R.’s job and my job is to empower them and get out of their way. They know what needs to get done.”

The View From Advizex’s Howdyshell: ‘Culture’ Fit Was Key To Deal

Howdyshell (pictured) said the “No. 1 reason” that the deal is a game-changer is the seamless cultural fit.

“The Myriad360 client-first model mirrors the Advizex customer for life model,’ he said. “For both companies these are not words. It is the way we live. It is the culture,” Howdyshell added.

Both companies also have an “It’s all about the people” focus that drives top-notch technical talent and exceptional customer service and support from team members, he said. “We don’t make anything,” he said. “It’s all about the people.”

Howdyshell echoed Miley’s sentiments on the growth potential of the combined companies. “It’s all about how quickly we can achieve the upside synergies that we see and how quickly we can build on the successes we have had and invest for growth for the longer term.”

One of the big benefits, said Howdyshell, is the global capabilities that Myriad360 brings to Advizex. “We lack those global capabilities,” he said. “Myriad360 is really good at it. That’s another differentiator for our large enterprise customers who want global support that we have struggled with. That is another huge match for us.”

The leadership teams from both companies are aligned, said Howdyshell. “That’s what happens when you have similar cultures and similar companies,’ he said. “There are instant synergies.”

Miley said the emphasis from both companies is on “treating people and clients right” and “doing the right things.”

Miley: The Call To Action Is ‘Cross-Sell, Cross-Sell, Cross Sell’

Miley said the call to action for both companies is to ‘cross-sell, cross-sell, cross-sell.”

“That’s what this is about,” said Miley. “It’s about the sales reps from Myriad360 having more arrows in their quiver because of the technology solutions that Advizex has stood up over 51 years.”

Those big investments that Advizex has made over a half-century are key to the growth opportunity for the combined companies, said Miley.

“I have avoided some of those investments because I put them into the ‘too hard to get to’ camp,” he said. “So I was partnering. I still will partner. But now at the end of the day we have more choices for our salespeople to make money. That is what this is about. It is about treating clients right and giving people an opportunity to earn.”

Miley said a key message to the team when the deal was announced was, “You are going to have bigger deal sizes and more opportunity, which ultimately means more resources and commissions.”

Miley said words “cannot capture” how excited the Myriad360 team is about the acquisition. “My team is reaching out to me saying, ‘Bring it on. I can’t wait to start meeting our new teammates. That bodes well for all of us.”

Closing In On $1B In Sales, The Deal Would Catapult Myriad360-Advizex Into Top 100 Of 2025 CRN Solution Provider 500

With the two companies combined amounting to $900 million in annual run rate gross revenue, the blockbuster acquisition would catapult Myriad360 with Advizex into the top 100 of the 2025 CRN Solution Provider 500.

Miley said Myriad360 was working toward becoming a $1 billion company before the deal. In fact, he held up $1 billion coin that Myriad360 founder and Chief Culture Office Andrew Fisher had given him.

“We are going to get to $1 billion-plus sooner or later,” said Miley.

As to whether the deal changes the competitive channel landscape, Miley said, “We’ve both been competing against the same companies for years. You know this is a very fragmented huge IT marketplace, and the channel is really, really important to it. Prior to this we were both important to it and post this we are even more important to it.”

The big benefit of the deal is that the combined company will be able to do a “better job serving the entire needs of the clients that we serve,” said Miley.

Myriad360-Advizex: A Company Focused On ‘The Future’ Built On Trust

Howdyshell said he sees the new Myriad360-Advizex as a company of the future.

“It takes a team to look into the future, and with Myriad360-Advizex the future looks bright,” he said.

Miley echoed those sentiments. “I think the reactions from both our teams is a testament to how bright the future is,” he said.

Miley said he sees the combined company as a proof point for the statement: “People buy from people they trust.”

“We are in a very innovative industry,” said Miley. “We are fortunate to be in such an innovative industry. That pace of innovation is going to continue to change. But at the end of the day, people buy from people they trust. The Advizex clients trust the Advizex team. The Myriad360 clients trust us. It is going to be a great combination. I am looking forward to what we develop together.”
