AWS Premier Services Partners Caylent, Trek10 Merge To Form Heavyweight Contender

Two AWS Premier Tier Services Partners are merging to form “the most comprehensive dedicated AWS services partner in the industry,” said Caylent CEO Lori Williams.

Caylent has acquired fellow AWS Premier Tier Services company Trek10 in a move to expand its portfolio into managed services, potentially reach new customers overseas and strengthen its ability to deliver end-to-end AWS services.

“By uniting Trek10’s proven CloudOps platform and managed services capabilities with Caylent’s agentic delivery model, we are delivering full-life-cycle AI-era services focused on enhancing customer outcomes,” said Williams (pictured) in a statement.

“Organizations now have a single partner to guide their evolution on AWS with AI-powered speed, software-like scalability and continuous optimization built in,” Williams said.

Los Angeles-based Caylent is a top-notch AWS AI and cloud partner that in 2024 won AWS Migration Consulting Partner of the Year award as well as AWS’ GenAI Industry Solution Partner of the Year award.

Two Top AWS Partners Join Forces

Caylent’s acquisition of Trek10 brings together two AWS partners to form a cloud expertise powerhouse in America aimed at uniting strategy and engineering capabilities across migration and modernization, data and analytics, generative AI and DevOps.

Founded in 2013, Trek10 is an AWS services and consulting partner specializing in building serverless applications for customers around IoT, media management and data-processing pipelines. The South Bend, Ind.-based company has AWS credentials in IoT, travel and hospitality, and retail competencies.

Trek10’s CloudOps platform provides 24x7 monitoring, 15-minute response times and continuous optimization delivered by AWS experts.

In addition, Caylent plans to now explore expanded market opportunities such as growth in the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.

AWS’ No. 1 Cloud Market Share And $124 Billion ARR

AWS is the world’s largest cloud computing provider and one of the biggest investors in AI technology and AI innovation.

The Seattle-based cloud powerhouse owns 30 percent share of the global cloud infrastructure services market, followed by Microsoft at 20 percent share, then Google Cloud at 13 percent share.

AWS generated a record $30.9 billion in revenue during the second quarter of 2025, representing an increase of 17 percent year over year.

The company’s annual run rate now stands at $124 billion.

With much momentum in AI and cloud sales, AWS partners like Caylent and Trek10 stand to gain market share.
