20 IT Companies Hiring In The Channel: June 2023

These are among the open positions this month for channel-related roles, according to listings on the LinkedIn social media network.

As technology vendors shed tens of thousands of jobs, citing a decrease in demand since the height of the pandemic plus growing inflation in the U.S., CRN has looked at open listings on LinkedIn that would bring new talent into the channel— either by working with a partner or by working with a vendor to support partners.

## Open Jobs In The IT Channel

Open roles include:

*A product specialist and specialized account executive making at least $99,000 a year at Workday

*A partner technical lead for distribution partners making at least $186,580 at NetApp

*A data science director making at least $150,600 a year at Ingram Micro

*A business development executive for high tech manufacturing and software making at least $160,000 a year at Avanade

* A cyber security strategist who can make at least $200,000 a year at E360

*A senior account executive at Netrix

Here are some of the latest job openings in the channel.

Verkada

Verkada, a vendor for cloud-based workplace safety technology, has several open listings for channel-related roles on LinkedIn.

The San Mateo, Calif.-based vendor’s open positions include:

*A channel marketing manager – the hire will find campaigns to drive revenue sourced from resellers, installers and other partners

*A channel development representative making at least $65,000 a year – the hire will manage reseller on-boarding and development, work with partners in the West region and review partner applications

*A channel marketing vice president making at least $200,000 a year – the hire will lead a team helping accelerate and support channel efforts along with adding more resellers and integrators

*A national channel sales partner manager making at least $160,000 a year – the hire will create strategies for CDW, SHI, Insight, Connection and other large-sized partners

Verkada has 4,400 channel partners worldwide, 3,700 of them in North America, according to CRN’s 2023 Channel Chiefs.

JFrog

JFrog has at least two channel-related job listings on LinkedIn.

The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based vendor of DevOps and security supply chain tools seeks a senior public sector partner manager who could make at least $170,000 a year, according to one listing.

The manager will leverage JFrog’s U.S. government reseller program framework to recruit more JFrog partners, according to the listing. The manager will work with partners and JFrog employees on co-sell and co-marketing campaigns.

Candidates should have at least five years of channel manager or sales account manager experience in the U.S. public sector space, according to the listing.

JFrog also seeks a cloud partner marketing manager who could also make at least $170,000 a year, according to the listing.

The hire will help develop and execute go-to-market for JFrog products and joint partner integrations with cloud partners, according to the listing. The hire will work with co-sellers, drive new product launches and create training content and other joint marketing materials.

Candidates should have at least four years of software partner marketing, consulting or strategy experience and experience with cloud provider marketplaces.

Workday

Workday has several openings related to the channel, according to LinkedIn.

The Pleasanton, Calif.-based enterprise management cloud vendor has listings for:

*A product specialist and specialized account executive making at least $99,000 a year – the hire is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers and channel partners

*An adaptive planning account executive for medium enterprises making at least $114,000 a year – this hire will also work with channel partners

*A partner alliances manager for federal and public sector organizations making at least $148,000 a year – candidates should have at least two years of experience in channel management in regulated industries.

Cockroach Labs

Cockroach Labs has a couple of listings related to work in the channel, according to LinkedIn.

The New York-based database management system vendor seeks a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) alliance manager, who can make at least $108,000 a year, according to one listing.

The hire will drive GCP channel partnerships and revenue growth, working with resellers, managed services providers (MSPs), system integrators and other partner business types. The hire will work with Cockroach sales, marketing and product on channel enablement, joint marketing and other actions.

Candidates should have at least seven years of experience with software-as-a-service cloud partnerships.

Cockroach also seeks a deal desk manager based near San Francisco, New York, Toronto or Austin, Texas. The position pays at least $90,000 a year, according to the listing.

Part of this manager’s responsibilities is integrating planning and execution for cloud, channel and other new lines of business, according to the listing.

Egnyte

Egnyte has at least two channel-related open positions on LinkedIn.

The Mountain View, Calif.-based content governance platform vendor has an opening for a partner sales manager for MSPs who can make at least $70,000 a year, according to LinkedIn.

The vendor seeks candidates who can build and grow indirect sales in an assigned territory. The hire will recruit partners, enable them, conduct strategic planning and work on co-selling end customers.

This hire will work with a partner account manager, partner systems engineer and partner marketing manager to exceed sales targets. Candidates should have at least eight years of experience building and managing partnerships in North America.

Egnyte also has a listing for a partner development manager who can make at least $94,500 a year in the U.S., according to LinkedIn.

This hire will implement, build and grow indirect sales in a designated region. The hire will recruit resellers and work on co-selling with partners.

The vendor seeks candidates with 10-plus years experience managing partnerships in North America.

NetApp

NetApp has multiple listings for roles that work with channel partners, according to LinkedIn.

The San Jose, Calif.-based data storage vendor has the following openings:

*A partner technical lead for distribution partners making at least $186,580 – the hire will serve as a primary technical resource for partners and provide product evangelization, education, selling strategies and other services

*A worldwide Amazon Web Services (AWS) customer success lead – candidates should have at least seven years of sales management experience with field sales, inside sales and channel partners

*An indirect procurement director making at least $193,860 a year – candidates should have experience establishing MSP programs

*A renewal sales lead making at least $178,200 a year – the hire will work with channel partners on meeting mutual sales targets

NetApp has about 13,000 worldwide channel partners, about 1,000 of them in North America, according to CRN’s 2023 Channel Chiefs.

Ingram Micro

Ingram Micro has dozens of open positions on LinkedIn.

The Irvine, Calif.-based distributor seeks:

*A level two first shift associate in the Hazleton, Pa., area making at least $28,900 a year – the hire will move, load and unload materials by hand or with equipment and update a purchase order system

*A senior network engineer in the Irvine, Calif., area making at least $98,000 a year – the hire will work on critical incidents, support wired and wireless core operations and conduct configuration analysis and troubleshooting

*A product design senior manager making at least $116,600 a year – the hire will work on digital platform user experience

*A senior sales support associate making at least $41,800 a year – the hire supports inside and outside sales representatives while preparing quotas and processing sales and change orders

*A second shift operations supervisor making at least $55,800 a year – the hire processes and packages supplies and equipment, audits goods received and coordinates shipping and receiving schedules

Notion

According to LinkedIn, Notion has an opening for a community and partner support specialist making at least $106,000.

The San Francisco-based ,connected workspace tools vendor seeks a specialist who can provide support to ambassadors, consultants and channel partners through community channels and support tickets, according to the listing.

The hire reports partner issues to the engineering team and facilitates investigations and resolutions, among other responsibilities.

Candidates should have at least four years of experience in a customer support role for a software-as-a-service product, according to the listing.

Tines

Tines has an opening for a channel partner manager in the western United States who can make at least $220,000 a year, according to a LinkedIn listing.

The Ireland-based security automation tools vendor seeks an experienced channel operator to build trusted co-sell relationships and execute channel enablement programs, according to the listing.

The hire works under the head of partnerships and connects channel partners with the Tines sales, support and services teams to meet performance goals.

The vendor also seeks an AWS partner development manager who can make at least $260,000 a year, according to the listing.

The hire will collaborate on global partner programs, product, marketing and sales while co-creating joint go-to-market (GTM) opportunities for AWS and Tines partners.

IT Glue

IT Glue has at least one open role that relates to the channel, according to LinkedIn.

The Canada-based IT documentation software vendor owned by Kaseya seeks a level two technical support engineer, according to a listing.

This engineer will help partners through chat, email tickets, telephone and screen-sharing sessions. The hire will also develop training materials, review software developments and releases and support onboarding.

Candidates should have MSP experience, according to the listing.

TrustWave

LinkedIn shows at least two openings at TrustWave.

The Chicago-based company – a member of CRN’s 2023 MSP 500 – seeks a service management analyst who can mature, train and implement IT infrastructure library (ITIL) processes.

The hire will use ServiceNow for automation. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, according to the listing.

The company also wants an account delivery manager (ADM) who can facilitate timely delivery of business outcomes outlined in sales contracts. The ADM will come up with escalation management strategies and improve standards and processes for customer service.

Anatomy IT

According to LinkedIn, Anatomy IT has a few positions available for job candidates.

The White Plains, N.Y.-based company – No. 435 on CRN’s 2023 Solution Provider 500 – has an opening for a level two system engineer in Pittsburgh, according to one listing.

The engineer will help with preparation, configuration, repair and maintenance of client infrastructure.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of held desk or field services work experience.

Anatomy also seeks a warehouse and staging technician in Pella, Iowa, according to LinkedIn. The technician will manage equipment shipping and receiving at the company’s central warehouse.

The hire will manage internal and customer equipment inventory, perform workstation imaging and prepare new software and hardware equipment. The hire may have to work after 5 p.m., before 8 a.m. and on the weekend.

Candidates should have at least a year of experience as an IT technician and a degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.

Netrix

Netrix has multiple job listings on LinkedIn.

The Bannockburn, Ill.-based company – No. 196 on CRN’s 2023 Solution Provider 500 – has openings for:

*Solutions marketing manager – the hire will lead cross-functional projects, including content strategy and execution, product launches, sales training and messaging for products and services

The hire supports existing data center hardware, deploys new equipment and upgrades and responds to support calls and incidents in the ticketing system, among other actions.

Candidates should have at least a year of experience.

The company also wants a network operations center (NOC) technician who can make at least $16.83 an hour, according to the listing.

The hire will monitor network elements, alerts, applications and events. This is an entry-level position.

Visionet Systems

Visionet Systems seeks an IT services sales professional in the insurance domain, per a LinkedIn listing.

The Cranbury, N.J.-based company – a member of CRN’s 2023 MSP 500 – will put the new hire in charge of new logo sales in insurance.

The hire will build a continuous sales pipeline through cold calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn and personal networks, according to the listing. The hire will work with Visionet competency experts, pre-sales and delivery teams.

Candidates should have experience in selling to life insurance and group benefits customers, experience in IT services sales and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

DH Tech

DH Tech has an open role for a junior sales engineer on LinkedIn.

A few positions are listed for E360 on LinkedIn

The Concord, Calif.-based company – No. 120 on CRN’s 2023 Solution Provider 500 – seeks a cyber security strategist who can make at least $200,000 a year, according to one listing.

Candidates must be a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and live in the Western U.S. The strategist will perform pre-sales and consulting work around cloud security, governance risk compliance, attack surface management and risk management.

E360 also wants a cyber security operations center (SOC) manager who can make at least $140,000 a year.

The manager must be a CISSP and have SOC experience. The manager will design, implement and operate SOC technologies on-premises and in the cloud for clients and at E360.

And the company has a listing for a financial operations (FinOps) analyst who can make at least $75,000 a year.
