
Solution provider powerhouse Presidio has acquired cloud consulting specialist Coda Global as the New York City-based company seeks to give customers an ideal hybrid cloud solution.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Dallas, Texas-based Coda Global, which also has offices in India, partners with the likes of AWS, IBM, Red Hat, Microsoft and Google. The company provides expertise to help customers accelerate their cloud-native transformation via its DevOptimized approach, where Coda guides customers through every stage of their cloud journey -- from migrating legacy apps to the cloud, to custom application development.

“By combining the deep skills and management depth that Coda brings to the table with the tremendous expertise of the existing Presidio solutions portfolio in cloud, security and digital infrastructure, we can now provide clients with a comprehensive agile, secure, hybrid-cloud infrastructure platform that is not only agile and high performing, but also secure throughout,” said Presidio CEO Bob Cagnazzi, in a statement.

Presidio, ranked No. 22 on CRN’s 2020 Solution Provider 500 list, is one of the top Cisco partners in the country with nearly 8,000 customers backed by 2,900 employees in 60 offices across the U.S. The $3 billion solution provider focuses on taking its client’s cloud strategy and adoption to the next level by offering cloud strategy, architecture and implementations services along with application rationalization and migration across the hybrid cloud data center environment.
Sam Fatigato, CEO of Coda Global, said in a statement that “being sales-led with a focus on top level engineering, having a track record of high levels of customer satisfaction, and possessing the ability to deliver real Business and IT services and solutions to our clients, has been a hallmark of both Presidio and Coda through the years.”
In December, Presidio was acquired in an all-cash transaction valued at $2.2 billion by affiliates of funds advised by private equity firm BC Partners. The London-based private equity firm quickly took Presidio private after the solution provider raised $234 million in an initial public offering in March 2017.
Presidio recently nabbed former Dell EMC senior vice president of Commercial Data Center Sale, John Hanlon, as its new chief revenue officer.
