Agentic-powered security operations startup 7AI announced Thursday it has raised $130 million in Series A funding.

Earlier this year, 7AI had emerged from stealth and announced raising $36 million in seed funding from investors including Greylock Partners, Spark Capital and CRV.

7AI delivers a platform that deploys autonomous AI agents to handle critical “non-human” security operations tasks such as alert triage, investigations and incident response, according to the company.

The agents leverage dynamic reasoning capabilities in order to adapt to various scenarios and eliminate false positives—ultimately enabling faster responses within security operations.

7AI has called itself the “first” agentic security platform capable of fully utilizing the capabilities of GenAI for cyber defense.

In August, the startup announced a partnership with technology services provider giant DXC that combines DXC’s security operations capabilities with autonomous AI agents from 7AI.

The DXC Agentic Security Operations Center offers end-to-end managed security operations, including ingesting alerts, investigating potential issues and remediation, according to the companies.
