The global IoT technology market is forecast to grow from $384.5 billion in 2021 to $566.4 billion by 2027 – a CAGR of 6.7 percent, according to a recent report from MarketsandMarkets.

That growth is being fueled by a number of factors including increasingly decentralized data centers and disbursed cloud networks, widespread adoption of 5G communications, and the rapidly growing number of smart sensors and devices connected to wireless networks.
