Being confident goes hand in hand with being true to yourself. Don't try to be someone you're not. Approach people and situations with grace and act in a way that you can look back on with pride. It's also important to have a collaborative approach to your work -- don't be afraid to ask for feedback and work together with your colleagues to make things happen. And of course, give credit where credit is due.
