State By State
The Solution Provider 500 is CRN's annual ranking of the largest solution providers by revenue in North America. As to be expected, many of the companies on the list are based in major metropolitan areas. New York, Chicago, and the Greater Los Angeles area are home to a combined 54 companies. But the list also features a lot of geographic diversity.
For instance, the state of New York is home to 45 companies on the list, yet its biggest representative, IBM Global Services, hails from the suburb of Armonk. In fact, only 19 of the companies on the 2016 Solution Provider 500 are headquartered in their state's capital.
New York and its 45 companies is only third on the list, trailing Virginia with 50, and California with a whopping 56. And while 36 states have multiple representatives, nine have none.
Here we take a look at biggest solution providers by state on this year's Solution Provider 500. We've also included companies from the six Canadian provinces that cracked the list.
