AWS re:Invent 2021: Here’s A Rundown Of The Biggest Partner News

Wade Tyler Millward

Accenture, Syntax and Kasten by Veeam were among the AWS partners to announce big news during AWS re:Invent.

Sumo Logic

Sumo Logic’s AWS security and observability tools helped pave the way to the company receiving AWS’ 2021 ISV partner of the year award, according to Sumo Logic.

Sumo Logic also announced four new Sumo Logic AWS Quick Start integrations for Amazon Inspector and expanded tracing visibility into AWS Lambda functions.

The four Quick Start integrations aim to help users migrate to the cloud with an automated, repeatable framework for security threat discovery and response, according to Sumo Logic.

The expanded tracing visibility is powered by AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail and OpenTelemetry. The capability is meant to help users build and operate Lambda functions, better use resources and improve application stack performance. Sumo Logic can bring CloudWatch logs and metrics for Lambda along with data for EC2, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway and other AWS services.
