IoT Devices Are Getting Smarter

Consumer products connected to the internet – IoT devices – dominated the CES showfloor this year as more companies unveiled connected products for the home, for athletics, and the factory floor.

This year, the integration of voice was hot; several existing IoT products announced support for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Companies are also adding more AI features into their smart devices with the idea that, eventually, these devices will know their owners so well they can act autonomously for some tasks.
