Whirlpool Smart Oven

Whirlpool's smart oven is nothing new – the oven itself was already launched – but at CES, this smart appliance now works with Alexa and food recipes app Yummly to help automate the process of cooking.

The IoT oven now works with Yummly, an app that lets users take photos of the food in their fridge and recommends recipes based on what they have, create shopping lists, or deliver food. The new integration of Yummly allows the smart oven to automatically operate based on what the app suggests in its recipes – so the app sends preheating and cooking instructions to the oven. And on top of all of that, users can use voice commands to control the oven as well.
