Raghuram’s Annual Salary Starts At $1 Million
As the new CEO effective June 1, Raghu Raghuram’s will receive an annual salary of $1 million, according to a VMware 8-K filing with the SEC.
Raghuram, 58, will also be eligible to participate in VMware’s benefit plans and programs as well as the company’s Executive Bonus Plan. He will be eligible for an annual target bonus opportunity of 150 percent of his base pay starting on June 1, 2021.
In terms of equity awards, in April 2021, Raghuram was granted Restricted Stock Unit and Performance Stock Unit awards with a total target value of $8 million. As the new CEO, VMware will make a recommendation to its committee that Raghuram be granted additional equity awards with a total target value of $5 million, according to VMware’s SEC filing.
