30 Notable IT Executive Moves: August 2025
OpenText, Keyfactor, Cisco, Intel, Kyndryl and Peraton were among the tech companies making key executive hires and moves in August 2025.
An interim CEO at OpenText and new channel chiefs at Keyfactor and Cisco Systems marked some of the biggest executive moves of June 2025.
Taking those spots, respectively, are James McGourlay, who has been with OpenText for about 28 years; Louise McEvoy, formerly with Trend Micro; and Tim Coogan, who has been with Cisco for about 26 years.

August 2025 Tech Executive Moves
Intel, Kyndryl and Peraton were among other tech giants to make significant executive moves during the month as companies invested in talent for overseeing sales, technology and partners. Those executives, respectively, were:
- Sarah Sirajuddin, formerly of Google
- Rajneesh Sethi, formerly of Amazon Web Services
- Jessica Kalmanson, formerly of L3Harris
The hiring in the channel comes despite slowing U.S. job growth, with 22,000 jobs added in August, according to The Wall Street Journal. Unemployment rose from 4.2 percent to 4.3 percent.

Jessica Kalmanson
Peraton brought on Kalmanson in August as CTO for its space and intelligence sector business.
The Reston, Va.-based company—No.26 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500—hired Kalmanson after she worked at L3Harris Technologies for about five years, according to her LinkedIn account. She left L3Harris with the title of business lead.
Her resume includes about two years with Boeing, leaving in 2020 as chief project engineer.
Sarah Sirajuddin
Intel hired Sirajuddin in August as its vice president of software AI.
The Santa Clara, Calif.-based chipmaker brought on Sirajuddin after she worked at Google for about 19 years, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Google as an engineering head for the company’s TensorFlow machine learning infrastructure.
Her roles at Google over the years include software engineering manager for Google Search and Maps and senior staff software engineer in ads infrastructure.
Intel’s top channel goals for 2025 include increasing the overall percentage of company revenue that comes through the channel and enabling partners to develop an AI strategy and sell AI solutions, according to CRN’s Channel Chiefs.
Rajneesh Sethi
Sethi joined Kyndryl in August, taking on the role of global vice president and senior partner for AI and digital strategy.
The New York-based company—No.11 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500—brought on Sethi after he worked at Amazon Web Services for about six years, according to his LinkedIn account. He left AWS with the title of AI product executive and head of strategy services for the Americas.
His resume includes about six years with EY, leaving the firm in 2020 with the title of banking technology strategy leader.
James McGourlay
McGourlay became interim CEO of OpenText in August. He succeeded CEO Mark Barrenechea.
McGourlay has worked at OpenText for about 28 years, starting in a customer support role. He most recently served as the Waterloo, Ontario-based distributor and cybersecurity vendor’s executive vice president for international sales for about four years.
OpenText has formed a CEO search committee and retained an executive search firm to look for its next leader.
Louise McEvoy
McEvoy joined Keyfactor in August as channel chief, taking on the title of senior vice president of global channel sales.
McEvoy came to the Independence, Ohio-based identity security vendor after about 11 years with Trend Micro, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Trend Micro with the title of global channel strategy director.
Her resume includes about eight years with IBM. She left the vendor in 2014 with the title of business unit executive for worldwide channel sales.
Keyfactor has about 200 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.
Tim Coogan
In August, Cisco promoted Coogan to the channel chief role, giving him the title of senior vice president of global partner sales.
Coogan has worked at the San Jose, Calif.-based networking giant for about 26 years, according to his LinkedIn account. He previously held the title of senior vice president of U.S. commercial business for about three years.
His resume includes about six years with Xerox, leaving as a sales executive in 1994.

Claire Gauthier
Gauthier became executive vice president and global head of the energy and utilities practice at Capgemini in August.
The France-based company—No. 4 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500—brought on Gauthier after she worked at Boston Consulting Group for about nine years, according to her LinkedIn account. She left BCG with the title of partner.
Her resume includes about four years with Total. She left the energy company in 2016 with the title of head of the energy solutions department.
Simone Gammeri
In August, Palo Alto Networks promoted Gammeri to the role of chief partnerships officer.
Gammeri joined the Santa Clara, Calif.-based security vendor in 2020 as vice president of strategy and most recently served as a senior vice president, according to his LinkedIn account.
His resume includes about 13 years as a consultant with McKinsey.

Wade McFarland
McFarland joined Lenovo in August, taking on the title of vice president of North America channels.
The Beijing- and Morrisville, N.C.-based computer maker hired McFarland after he worked at Dell Technologies for about 24 years, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Dell with the title of vice president.
Lenovo has about 120,000 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.
Stacy Mill
Mill was named a senior vice president at Pomeroy in August and is focused on Network Operations Center and Security Operations Center services plus managed network services.
Mill arrived at the Hebron, Ky.-based company—No.82 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500—after about a year as CEO of Pivot Tech, according to her LinkedIn account.
Her resume includes about three years as vice president of IT and chief information security officer at Nashville Electric Service. She left NES in 2024.
Cade Stephens
In August, Sophos brought on Stephens as global vice president for global system integrator and managed security services provider sales.
Stephens joined the Abingdon, England-based security vendor after about four years with Nozomi Networks, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Nozomi with the title of vice president of global partner and channel sales.
His resume includes about five years with Check Point Software Technologies, leaving the vendor in 2022 with the title of head of global service provider and GSI sales.
Sophos has about 20,000 channel partners worldwide, accordingto CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.
Matthew Milton
In August, Microsoft hired Milton as president of its Canada division.
Milton came to the Redmond, Wash.-based technology giant after about four years with Kyndryl and about 19 years with IBM before Kyndryl’s spin-out, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Kyndryl with the title of senior vice president.
His title at IBM before the 2021 Kyndryl spin-out was general manager of financial services for North America.
Microsoft has about 500,000 channel partners worldwide. Its channel goals for 2025 include increasing the overall percentage of company revenue that comes through the channel, enabling partners to develop an AI strategy and sell AI solutions plus improving partner profitability, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.
Dina Apostolou
Apostolou joined Salesforce in August, taking on the role of CMO for its Sales Cloud product.
The San Francisco-based AI and enterprise application vendor brought on Apostolou after she worked at Sisense for about a year as CMO, according to her LinkedIn account.
Her resume includes about 21 years with Microsoft, leaving in 2021 as global senior director of product marketing for worldwide business apps and industry marketing.
Salesforce has about 12,000 partners worldwide.
Rajesh Viswanathan
Viswanathan returned to Oracle in August, taking on the role of senior vice president of the vendor’s Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) storage services.
The Austin, Texas-based database and cloud products vendor brought back Viswanathan after he spent about three years with Inovalon as CTO, according to his LinkedIn account.
His previous five-year stint with Oracle ended in 2023. He held the title of senior vice president of OCI container-native and serverless application development services.
Oracle’s NetSuite division is part of CRN’s 2025 Partner Program Guide.
Phillip Files
In August, RingCentral brought on Files as senior vice president of customer experience go-to-market for the RingCX AI-powered contact center product.
Files joined the Belmont, Calif.-based cloud communications vendor after about 14 years with Five9, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Five9 with the title of senior vice president of global solution consulting.
His resume includes about one year with Genesys. He left the communications vendor in 2011 with the title of principal solution engineer.
RingCentral has about 16,000 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.
Marty Overman
Overman took on the role of executive vice president of Americas sales at Darktrace in August.
Overman came to the Cambridge, England-based security company after about a year with Entersekt, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Entersekt with the title of CRO.
Her resume includes about a year with Elisity. She left the security company with the title of head of worldwide sales.

Michael Gerstenhaber
Google recruited Gerstenhaber in August as vice president of product management for its Vertex AI and AI agents offers.
The Mountain View, Calif.-based AI and cloud products provider hired Gerstenhaber after he worked at Anthropic for about two years, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Anthropic with the title of head of product management.
His resume includes about seven years with Datadog. He left the vendor in 2024 with the title of vice president of product management.

Patrick Tynan
Tynan became vice president of finance in August at NinjaOne.
Tynan joined the Austin, Texas-based IT management tools provider after about three years with Cornerstone OnDemand, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Cornerstone with the title of vice president of finance.
His resume includes about three years with customer experience company UserTesting. He left the company in 2023 as senior director of financial planning and analysis.
NinjaOne’s top channel goals for 2025 include increasing the amount of professional services going through partners and increasing the amount of recurring revenue going through partners, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.
KJ Trivedi
Trivedi returned to Zscaler in August, taking on the role of senior vice president of strategic accounts.
Trivedi came to the San Jose, Calif.-based security vendor after about three years with Palo Alto Networks, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Palo Alto Networks with the title of senior vice president of strategic accounts and president of the Americas secure access service edge business.
He previously worked at Zscaler for about seven years, leaving in 2022 as vice president of sales.
Zscaler has about 3,000 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.
Anirban Bhowmik
In August, Bhowmik came to Tech Mahindra as a vice president and business unit head.
Bhowmik came to the India-based company—No.23 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500—after about 27 years with Tata Consultancy Services, according to his LinkedIn account. He left TCS as a managing partner.
His time with TCS included three years as an account relationship manager and about three years as a program director.
John Goode
Ensono brought on Goode in August as vice president of strategic sales for the Eastern U.S.
Goode came to the Downers Grove, Ill.-based company—a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500—after about three years, according to his LinkedIn account. He left with the title of vice president strategic sales for the industrial and communications sectors.
Before Kyndryl’s spin-out from IBM in 2021, Goode had been a Big Blue employee for about 13 years. His last role with IBM was a vice president in Global Technology Services focused on industrial sector strategic sales.
Adnon Dow
Dow became chief strategy officer for BCM One in August.
Dow joined the New York-based company—a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500—after about three years with Bandwidth, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Bandwidth with the title of senior vice president of global channels and alliances.
His resume includes about a year with Centerity Systems as chief strategy and revenue officer. He left the distributed edge monitoring company in 2022.
Jan Nelson
TTEC Digital hired Nelson in August as its vice president for Microsoft Azure delivery.
Nelson came to the Austin, Texas-based company—No.94 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500—after about six years with Hitachi Solutions America, according to her LinkedIn account. She left the company with the title of executive vice president of technical solution delivery.
Her resume includes about six years with SysLogic. She left the company in 2018 with the title of practice lead for enterprise applications and architecture.
Talal Khan
Insight welcomed Khan in August as senior vice president of AI accelerator.
Prior to Khan joining the Chandler, Ariz.-based company—a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500—he worked at Adobe for about three years, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Adobe with the title of senior director of corporate and product strategy.
His resume includes about six years with McKinsey, leaving the firm in 2022 as an associate partner.
Carl Lefkowitz
Lefkowitz returned to EPAM Systems in August, taking on the role of client partner and vice president.
Lefkowitz came to the Newtown, Pa.-based company—a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500—after about two years with Endava, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Endava with the title of senior vice president and managing director of insurance for North America.

Danny Knopp
In August, QTS Data Centers brought on Knopp as executive vice president of technology.

Zach Toback
Diversified hired Toback in August, tasking him with the role of vice president of business development for hospitality and lifestyle advisory services.
Toback joined the Plano, Texas-based company—a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500—after he worked at ABC News and its parent The Walt Disney Co. for almost 30 years, according to his LinkedIn account. He left ABC News with the title of vice president of production and studio operations.

Regina Lightsey
Atos brought on Lightsey in August as vice president and legal counsel, a role in which she will manage a range of human resources and litigation issues and support commercial transactions.
The France-based company—No. 39 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500—brought on Lightsey after she worked at Conduent for about eight years, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Conduent with the title of technology solutions management consultant.

Kevin O’Keefe
In August, O'Keefe joined DoiT as CFO.
O’Keefe came to the Santa Clara, Calif.-based company—a member of CRN’s 2025 MSP 500—after about a year with real estate company LightBox. He left LightBox with the CFO title, according to his LinkedIn account.
