Cork CEO Says Pax8 Partnership ‘A Real Commitment To Delivering Results Together’
‘About half of our partners are already Pax8 partners today, so we’ve been working with a lot of the same community members for a long time,’ says Cork CEO Dan Candee. ‘Our entire purpose is to provide value wherever our partners and their clients need to be. This just makes it easier to have more conversations and deliver more value.’
MSP-focused cyber warranty provider Cork Cyber has joined the Pax8 Marketplace, making it easier for MSPs to see cyber risk in one place while also backing that visibility with protection and built-in financial resilience.
The move brings Cork’s Vantage platform and its financial resilience products to more MSPs. For CEO Dan Candee, the decision to join the marketplace was as much about philosophy as distribution.
Cork’s Vantage platform connects to more than 100 cybersecurity tools, aggregating data into a single, unified view of risk across endpoints. The platform identifies exposed endpoints, missing controls, vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
“About half of our partners are already Pax8 partners today, so we’ve been working with a lot of the same community members for a long time,” Candee (pictured) told CRN in an interview. “Our entire purpose is to provide value wherever our partners and their clients need to be. This just makes it easier to have more conversations and deliver more value.”

He sees the marketplace as a natural fit for Boulder, Colorado-based Cork as MSPs are more informed and independent than ever and prefer to explore options on their own, learn at their own pace and make confident decisions. For him, Pax8 supports that behavior by letting partners save time and money while simplifying the entire buying process.
“Our differentiator is that we tie the data to the dollar,” he said. “We’ve built over 100 integrations, and we aggregate all of that data quickly and inexpensively through APIs. We’re agentless, and within days we become mission critical for partners because they can see all the risk signals across their entire business in one place.”
That visibility, he added, translates into operational efficiency and return on investment.
“Cork is the ideal solution to make sure that our partners get a cyber advantage through cyber risk insights that protect everyone’s bottom line,” Rob Rae, corporate vice president of channel and ecosystems at Greenwood Village, Colorado-based Pax8, said in a statement.
The Pax8 partnership also reflects a shared focus on efficiency and scale. Candee said Pax8 is an extension of the Cork team, particularly when it comes to helping MSPs get more value from the tools they already own.
“MSPs are spending a lot of money, and they need to create more efficiencies in how they manage operations,” he said. “Pax8 is leaning into automation and AI, and Cork fits perfectly into that motion. We help collapse complexity so partners can manage less and get more.”
One Pax8 partner agreed and said Cork can help further differentiate businesses.
“I think having a partner or service like Cork offers another method for MSPs to say yes to prospects and clients,” Sandy McGrath, co-founder and president of Canada-based MIPGlobal.ai, told CRN. “It could be a differentiator in offering a service a competitor cannot.
At its core, the mission is both simple and personal for Candee. Cork was built to keep businesses in business, and he sees the Pax8 partnership as another way to do exactly that by protecting more endpoints and supporting more partners.
“At Cork, our framework for success is love plus performance,” he said. “With Pax8, there’s trust, integrity and a real commitment to delivering results together. What we’ve built over the last year and a half is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see where we are by mid-2026.”
