Red Hat, Involta, Intel, Sada Systems, Microsoft, Google and Dell Technologies were among the tech companies to make executive hires during the month.

Omar Dajani

Palo Alto Networks hired Omar Dajani last month as the worldwide vice president of solution architecture for cloud security for the Prisma Cloud product, according to his LinkedIn.

In this role, he will “build and lead the cloud security solution architect team for the hottest and most successful cybersecurity company,” according to a post on his LinkedIn.

Before he joined the Santa Clara, Calif.-based cybersecurity company, Dajani worked at Google for more than six years, according to his LinkedIn. He left with the title of head of solution engineering for independent software vendors (ISVs) and services partners for Google Cloud Platform in North America.

At Google, Dajani built “two cloud engineering teams that delivered some of the largest deals for Google Cloud,” according to a post on LinkedIn. He helped grow the West cloud engineering team tenfold within three years and built an engine of scale through ecosystem partners. In three years, that team grew fivefold.

His resume includes more than eight years on and off with Veritas Technologies, according to his LinkedIn. He most recently left Veritas in 2016 with the title of global head of technical sales for system integrators and cloud service providers.

Dajani also spent more than eight years with Symantec, according to his LinkedIn. He left the company in 2015 with the title of senior director of market Insights and competitive intelligence.
