Crowning Achievement: CRN’s 2025 Triple Crown Award Winners

CRN assembles solution provider lists and rankings throughout the year, including the Solution Provider 500, Tech Elite 250 and Fast Growth 150. Here CRN recognizes the 65 solution providers that earned a spot on all three lists this year with the annual Triple Crown honors.

Opportunity and uncertainty have been the watchwords of the business environment for solution providers over the last year. Opportunity thanks to the rush of AI technology development that continues to remake the IT industry and spur demand for new IT products and services. Uncertainty due to economic anxiety, ever-shifting tariff policies and geopolitical concerns that have solution providers making continual course corrections as they manage their business.

Despite these challenges, many solution providers have successfully grown their businesses, both organically and through acquisitions, over the last year. They have expanded their technology and service offerings to meet customers’ rapidly changing needs. And they have developed expertise—and won IT vendor certifications—in AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing and other critical technology segments.

CRN publishes a number of solution provider lists and rankings throughout the year including the Solution Provider 500, the largest solution providers operating in North America by revenue; the Fast Growth 150, ranking the fastest-growing solution providers; and the Tech Elite 250, a roundup of solution providers that achieve the highest partner levels and certifications from leading IT vendors.

Each year a number of solution providers accomplish the impressive feat of making all three lists. This year 65 solution providers, profiled in this slide show, achieved that trifecta to become the 2025 class of CRN Triple Crown winners.

As with so much of the IT industry and the channel, the AI explosion is having a major impact on the solution providers that make up the Triple Crown list.

In June, for example, solution provider NWN added an innovative new AI-powered managed services offering to its portfolio with the release of AiVA, an AI virtual assistant that provides automated IT diagnostics and fixes that the company says has resulted in a 45 percent reduction in IT support requests.

“This is just a massive addition of incremental capabilities that builds on what we have been doing with intelligent virtual agents in our customer experience and Device-as-a-Service businesses,” NWN CEO Jim Sullivan told CRN. “Now we have a full stack of AI-powered managed services with all the infrastructure and all of the customer experience. We tie it together end to end with AI componentry going across all these different domains. We are implementing these AI solutions with large language [GenAI] models and mapping it into the customer’s legacy data. This is huge for customers.”

Cybersecurity is also a major growth engine for solution providers. In September Blue Mantis launched Mantis Protect, a major expansion of the Portsmouth, N.H.-based solution provider’s managed security services. Mantis Protect, which includes managed security operations center capabilities, represents a “significant investment” in the company’s service offerings, Blue Mantis CISO Jay Martin told CRN.

“What it signifies is we've listened to our customers. We heard where the pain points were with the old solution and heard what they’re not getting from the [MDR vendors],” Martin said. “We feel like we’ve answered it with Mantis Protect. And we’re going to continue to accelerate what we provide those customers as we go forward.”

Demands for AI and cybersecurity technology and services are fueling much of the organic growth that solution providers on this year’s Triple Crown list have experienced. But, as is true every year, acquisitions are a big driver of solution provider growth.

Blue Mantis, for example, expanded both its ServiceNow capabilities and its geographical presence in Canada with its recent acquisition of Coreio, one of a number of acquisitions the solution provider has made this year.

New York-based Net at Work has also been very active on the acquisition front, often looking to grow its practices around specific ERP application products from Sage and Acumatica. In August, for example, Net at Work bought AppSolute Consulting Group and its Sage and Acumatica operations.

Some of the companies on this year’s Triple Crown roster have made the list numerous times in recent years. Winslow Technology Group, a leading provider of IT solutions, managed services and cybersecurity services, makes the Triple Crown list for an eighth year—more than any other company on this year’s list. Three companies are appearing for a seventh year: Advanced Computer Concepts, ANM and Sterling Computers.

The Triple Crown class of 2025 also has 20 companies that are making the list for the first time, including BEAR Cloud, DoiT, EOS IT Solutions, ITMC, Net at Work, Quantiphi and White Rock Cybersecurity.

Profiles of this year’s Triple Crown winners are in the following slides.
