Net At Work Continues Acquisition Spree With Cloud 9 Business Purchase
The acquisition of Cloud 9 ERP Solutions expands Net at Work’s presence in the market for Acumatica application services and support.
Net at Work’s torrid acquisition pace in 2026 continues, today announcing the acquisition of the business of Cloud 9 ERP Solutions, an Acumatica gold certified implementation partner.
The acquisition expands the company’s overall footprint in the ERP (enterprise resource planning) application space, the company said, and more specifically bolsters the company’s practice around Acumatica software.
The acquisition is the seventh this year for New York-based Net at Work, a fast-growing SMB technology advisor, application solution provider and MSP. The company announced its last acquisition, Kinzit Technologies, in early August in a move that expanded its managed services expertise and cybersecurity offerings.

Cloud 9 employees will join Net at Work and continue working with existing clients, Net at Work said in the acquisition announcement. Gregg Mercede, Cloud 9 ERP Solutions, “will remain on board to ensure a smooth transition,” the company said.
Cloud 9 ERP Solutions clients, meanwhile, will gain access to Net at Work’s “extensive Acumatica expertise and development resources” as well as its comprehensive suite of services that include CRM and human resource management applications, cybersecurity, and strategic AI integration, the company said.
“As one of the original Acumatica partners, Cloud 9 brings a team with deep expertise to our organization, and we are pleased to welcome these employees to the Net at Work family,” said Net at Work co-founder and Co-CEO Alexander Solomon, in the announcement.
“Cloud 9’s history and knowledge, combined with our shared focus on innovation and Net at Work’s extensive resources and broad portfolio of business technology solutions, will help Cloud 9 clients accelerate growth by realizing greater value from their technologies, particularly in AI implementation,” Solomon said.
“Because Net at Work and Cloud 9 share similar values and principles, clients will be served with the same excellence they’ve experienced with our firm,” Mercede said in the announcement. “Net at Work’s scale and the markets where the company is involved and growing provide Cloud 9 team members new opportunities they didn’t have before to explore areas of interest. The acquisition allows both our clients and our employees to grow at a much faster pace.”
Altogether, Net at Work has made 10 acquisitions since July 1, 2025. Prior to its Kinzit Technologies acquisition, the company bought Sage Software partner Millennium Accounting Solutions in June, expanding its presence in the Sage accounting and financial software and services space.
Acquisitions earlier this year included Endeavor4, a Sage Intacct application service provider; Managed services provider OnPar Technologies; ERP application solution provider BHE Consulting; and Network Computer Solutions, a Kansas-based provider of managed services throughout the Midwestern U.S.
Net at Work was No. 221 on the CRN 2026 Solution Provider 500 and appeared on the CRN 2026 Managed Service Provider 500 list.
